How can I get the smell of rotting meat out of the fridge , or is it junk now?

sorry to say...junk it...its almost impossible to get the smell out

no your freezer isnt junk, same thing happened to me and i cleaned it out real good then i put a couple big boxes of baking soda in it and the smell came out of it .

If it's 15 years or older, buy a new one because it will save you at least half the cost on electricity.

arm and hammer soda. put box in fridge and leave there always. helps a lil. clean with bleach perhaps?

The smell is in the insulation.junk it

Have your tried using bleach water, or lemon juice?

try washing it out with bicarbonate of soda
