Our ceiling fan had a lightbulb break clean off. I mean there is *no* glass left- just the screwbulb base. I can't get around it with pliers. How else might I get the base out of the socket?

I'm trying to figure out why my propane refridgerator is not functioning. It was unused for 18 months. (worked before that) The propane burner is functioning well with blue flame and the unit is level but there seems to be a problem with the ammonia system (or thermostat?). There is a periodic gurgling sound but no cooling happening.
Any tips?

In NY state, do you need to have an underwriter certificate (for electrical work primarily) when buying or selling a house? We don't have one in our files from the previous owners. I've tried Googling but no luck.

fuel leaked on a new boat cover made of a heavy plastic/like tarp and it is circled where fuel touched it. If I can get the smell out it would help.
Thanks!

I went to plug in my night light and dicscovered that my plugs in both bathrooms have no power yet everything else is in fine working order. I checked my fuse box and everthing is on. I turned them off hoping that might reset them but they remain powerless.

I invented several items that I have found solve some major problems in wood shops, in general, and are inexpensive solutions to problems that almost everyone has around the globe. I even invented a trivial device that allows you to get your soda and other beverages so cold that ice crytals are forming and stop it from freezing solid. Cool huh. It hurts your tongue if you are really working up a sweat. Any ideas how to get funds to launch them? If you haven't figured it out, the other inventions are tools.

Our door from the house to our garage opens on it's own. It will not catch on the latch when you try to close it. It' s a pain as it is always opening on it's own and we have to close it. Any suggestions or repair help?

Our refrigerator used to run constantly....then it stopped running completely and the temperature started to rise. We noticed that the coils and everything underneath were extremely dirty and covered in dust. We cleaned all the dirt and dust and the fridge started running again, only now it cycles on and off every 15 minutes or so. Not sure if this is what it's supposed to do or if it's getting ready to die completely.
