Ant Control:
Spread some ground cinnamon where you think the ants are coming in to the house.

Basil repels flies and mosquitoes. To deter ants, use catnip. Sprinkle it in their paths.

Make a mixture of 2/3 cup water, 1/3 cup white vinegar, and 2-3 Tablespoons dish soap. Spray where the ants are marching.

As you can tell, these ingredients are safe to use around pets and children.. something to keep in mind ;)

Get those ant traps, put the around the house. When they go into the hut, they'll get the food that's in it. Take it back to their ant hill and kill every single one of them. It's what we had to do, and so far we have one seen one ant, when before we were killing somewhere between 8 and 16 a day.

Terro liquid ant killer is the best stuff, better than those button things. You can purchase it in most hardware stores. It takes a few days or so, but it really works.

BENGAL!!! It really works for all crawly things!!!
Also,if you can find the ant hills, place dirt from one ant hill on to another. You may have to do this twice, but it works. They will leave. But get the BENGAL! The spray is great! You can spray outside your house around the doors, and windows, and they will die!!You can get Bengal at most hardware stores, and I think they might sell it at Walmart.Hope you buy it soon! :)

Ants get in at your foundation at ground level. Check around your house at the foundation line. If you see any cracks they should be caulked. If you see any activity or trails, boric acid in powdered form works.

buy a two gallon sprayer and the strongest poison your state will permit then mix the solution twice as strong as label directions, start spraying all around the out side of the house, the entryways and window frames, also you can spread granular type poison in the yard as a backup method.
