Probably, they're more than twenty-years-old. The roof needs to be recovered at the very least. Shingles usually have a thirty-year life expectancy. The warranty depends on a lot of factors. You need to have a few respected roofers take a look and give you their recommendations and bids, if the latter are necessary.

Heat will generally cause shingles to curl up. Check the ventilation in your attic. Also look under the shingles and see if there was any felt paper or other underlayment installed before the shingles were laid down.

they are getting old and need to be replaced tey are not that high and you can replace the one that are bad if you cant aford them simply apply for a home repair grant many programs are out there to help low buget people in geting grants no matter what there income is thats your best chance of getting your roof fixed for free.
