Round-up will definitely will do the job. As a boy I grew up in an area where everyone had brick sidewalks. The way everyone kept the weeds from growing between the bricks was pouring table salt into the gaps. You didn't need to pour a ton of it in there but just a little to prevent the weeds from returning. I am sure you could buy several containers of table salt for the price of a container of Round-up and the only chemical you would be using is table salt.

Use it more often. The foot traffic will kill the weeds. I know...I have a job too, so answer #1 is more practicable. I use Round-up also.

Shade it from the sun somehow with trees or a open air patio cover.

Round Up Concentrate is the best weed killer that I know.

Walmart has it in stock.
