My bathroom does not have an electrical outlet. I need one to plug in my hairdryer and other small appliances, i.e. bathroom filters, etc. The bathroom does have a light switch. I want to know whether a light switch could be converted into a system that has both a light switch and an outlet.

My management company is completely incompitant, and I told them I wouldn't pay rent until the repairs from before I moved in three months ago are done. I haven't gotten a response yet, so I'm wondering if they can do something like evict me?

i moved in to a new rental home and was asured that is was going to be cleaned and some of the former rentee was leaving me some of his furniture however i found them in a very unsafe garage......and the home was a disgrace for the landlord who insure me it would be clean....also there was some stuff left over from the other tenant (worth over 1000$) it probably will take me a month to finish. on top of it i have to take care of the landscaping and lawn and was not included in the lease it was the landlord resonsilblities. what should i do??????????

I wish to buy a nail gun to shoot nails into hard material. Anyone into construction? What is the difference between an air pressure nail gun and electric nail gun. Of course, the air pressure nail gun requires an air compressor and an electric nail gun is a lot cheaper. Is it the same power?

Inside my house the air shuts off fine. Even if I shut the thermostat off the unit/compresser outside runs all the time.

It ain't THAT easy! Did I forget to mention the ductwork is in the floor of my family room which is built on a concrete slab? The REALLY odd part is outside my garage (which is in front of the family room on the same concrete slab) when the air conditioning is on, cold air blows out from the space between the front of the garage slab and the driveway -- a good 20 feet from where the duct is!!!

Anyone know a place where I can rent a duct cam? I'm too cheap to pay a HVAC co something I already know.

And if that is the case... do I fix the duct or just fill it in with concrete and run another duct run from the basement through the ceiling?
