I have a 25 foot spruce tree in the front yard. There are a lot of weeds at the foot of the tree. I don't have time to pull out the weeds. Could I use some round up to clear them out? Thanks.

I'm doing a science fair project involving grass seeds and I want to know how much should I plant. I'm planting the seeds in pots about 4.5 inches in diameter.

I have a beautiful Bonsai tree that is 25 years old. I was told to put it in a bright place and water once a week. I did but obviously watering it once a week wasn't enough becuase it now looks dead. All the leaves have dried out and are falling off. I have tried giving it Bonsai treatment that you add to water and i am watering it everyday!! Any other ideas??? Help!

I want my vegetables to be in full bloom in late spring or early summer. So, when should I start my gardening to make that possible? Thanks!

And I have not gotten a chance to put it in the ground. It has started to show green leaves and some flowering. We are expected to have a hard freeze in the next couple of days. What should I do, wait till it warms up a bit before I plant it? While it is out of the ground how should I care for it I don't want it to die on me!! Dumb me I should have planted it immediately, since we so far have had a calm winter in N Ga this year!

I know that the green plant from garlic is edible because someone once told me to plant it and i got garlic chives. Now I put an onion in water. It grew roots, and after a week or two started growing something green. Is this a scallion? It doesn't look like it. Is it edible? Please quote a source if you have one but your general knowledge is also ok!
