Do you mean a hosta? they come in many varieties and they are a green leafed shade loving plant, with plumes that shoot up from the center. These are usually white or light blue. they are low to the ground and vary in width.Hostas are great around the border of your property around a wooded area. below is a link of pictures of hosta plants. they are easy to keep, come in many different types, and do well in sun and shade but like shade better. they also flower, and come up every year. after a few years they get bigger and u can divide them and replant them. a good choice for easy maintenance plants..
