I've always wanted a Weeping Willow tree and now have a property big enough for one.....the spot where I want to plant it is at the bank of a canal which is somewhat brackish water....also, how far should the tree be from my septic system?

Is there still time? They are all still green. Some are huge, others quite small. What do we do?

I assumed that if something grows wild or otherwise in your own property it is rightfully yours. Some sites say to harvest wild gensing you need to buy a permit yearly. Also why would you want to harvest gensing? Does it serve any purpose?

Defoliated in 2005. Sprayed. Foliation returned. 2006 foliation was small, under-developed. Then it fell off. Mid-summer tree was bare, trunk split open, bark peeled off. The trunk seems to have small holes (bores?) in it. Other maple trees in neighborhood fine. PS This tree is yellow in fall.

I saw them in a shop in Las Vegas. They are electric, and there were a set of six in a small bowl that had a light and the water bubbled up around the light. They are a patio display.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to know how to take cuttings and preserve geraniums over winter so that in spring they can be replanted....I live in Great Britain, so the climate & weather considerations for this issue are relevant for this query.
