My downstairs neighbor has reneged on her deal to mow the lawn, and it looks like I'm going to have to. I haven't mowed a lawn since I was 12 or so--and only did it once then (I have two great brothers).

So, can you offer me any lawn mowing advice?

What do you do for Shiney Leaf Gardenia that has drastically yellowing leafs? It is indoors and I received it about three days ago. It did get an accidental overdose of rain and is now standing in a plant stand indoors with no pebble tray. I recently sat it outdoors on a cloudy day for about an hour and it was a little windy. It did seem to like the indirect sunlight and three of its many buds are blooming. I thought despite the many horror stories I read about raising them that I would be able to keep it alive and now I am having serious doubts about our relationship. Maybe talking to it will help.

We live in a split house. When she moved in, we agreed that I would take care of the driveway in the Winter, and she would take care of the lawn in the Summer. Now, she is trying to back out of it, claiming to the landlord that she doesn't know how to handle a lawnmower (her boyfriend lives with her). I don't want to get too combative, because I don't want to live at war with her every day. I just want her to mow the lawn.

I might get some sheep for my land (mostly to keep the grass down), but I figure why not sell the wool also. Is this an easy thing to do? Or is selling the wool not practical?

I am thinking of buying some large evergreen trees for my land, and I want to know what is the largest size I can buy and how much would they cost approximately? I just don't feel like waiting years for 3 foot trees to grow.

Any information will be appreciated.

I need to know if it is possible to take a clipping of a Crab-Apple Tree (type unknown) and transplant it elsewhere, if needed. The original tree is old and is somewhat of a family heirloom and seems to be struggling, and I hope to keep some "branch" of it alive, maybe elsewhere. Any and all suggestions would be helpful. This tree represents family and the generations family becomes, and needs to be saved and shared. Thank-you for your suggestions.
