Why is my begonia plant dropping its buds?

I recently bought it at a garden center and it looks healthy everywhere but has lost most of the buds.

Lack of water or shock if it went to a different set of temperature and sunlight influences.

Fluctuations in the moisture level in the soil can cause bud drop. Being exposed to an air draft can, also. And not enough light can do that as well. And a change in the temperature can do that too.
