I am currently in the process of buying a home and i need to paint the interior. I am familiar with operating both HVLP and airless type of sprayers, however i am not an expert by any means. I have been looking at Wagner and Spraytech options but am unaware of the quality other than rumours. I plan on buying one of value not a walmart wannabe. I want one that is durable and can handle a workload for i may in the future want to use it for larger jobs. If you have any insight on this sort of thing i would greatly appreciate some advice. If you do indeed reply thank you.

My wife and I think 2 different ways to install toliet paper. I think it should come over the top and she thinks it should come from the bottom. Which way do you think it should be installed.

BTW: This is not ever a issue but a funny quirk we play with. Thanks for your opinion!

we had the interior of our home painted several years ago and are planning on selling it now but there are some bad paint overspray sections from a paint gun on the sides of the interior windows. will paint thinner work or is there another way to do it? what about on the bathroom tile?

It would be cinderblock filled with sand and the sides would be rough to hold stucco, would this fix the cracking problem people seem to have with stucco? It would be in texas and the south wall would be the only one filled with sand

I'm trying to build some shelves into an alcove. I plan to line the sides of the alcove with wood as the surface is uneven (and the alcove not deep enough on one side). The problem is the skirting board at the back and sides of the alcove, which obstruct the lining. What is the best solution. Do I remove the skirting boards or somehow cut around them?

i want to ground up a dozen bags full of various chinese herbs and plant matter into a fairly fine powder. Obviously I don't want to take all week doing it in a cuisinart or small blender. I've looked into leaf shredders but think it might not be fine enough. Though I don't want to spend a thousand dollars on something. Ideal would be some addaptation I couldmake to a power tool or some common gardening tool, something I could rent.

I live in MS and we have the mandatory concreate slab foundation and it is carpeted. The problem is that my husband is recovering from cancer and there seems to be more dust and a mildew smell since we came home from TN. It may just be the change in climate. BUT we are looking into maybe polishing the concrete and having it stained. What are the best "allergy" effective flooring options that won't strain our brains or pockets.

I was hoping to create a spanish/ mediterranean courtyard at the next house in front if there is enough yard and codes allow and building it out of rough sided cinder block and then stucco it, it would be like 6.5 ft tall and every 16 inches there would be a 3 ft "window" opening to put a greek style pot in with a cascading vine. I would put a wider shelf in those openings. the courtyard would have stone tile- the 2 or 3 ft by 2 or 3 ft kind and the front of the house would be brick, it would be attached to home to stabilize. do you think this would work? I would be having it professionally done most likely(the wall part)

Is it o.k. to put a wood burning stove into a fireplace and just open the flue each time you use it. I'm looking to use wood this year instead of Propane. The propane costs me a fortune and the fireplace just doesn't heat at all.
Thanks
