About 20 years now. I started out working on my parents rental properties, then remodeling my own homes. I got into woodworking about the same time and learned how to make and repair cabinets, furniture...etc. I owned a carpentry business for several years and eventually got into real estate. Now I just do projects for my family and friends.

Since my wife started nagging me. Feels like forever.
As far as I'm concerned every minute spent on DIY is a minute wasted.
