I have finished installing a ceramic tiles in my bathroom. Now, I have a problem with the toilet being rocking (not leveled down even after tightening all screws). The flange is still good. Is it because of the new floor's height? How can I fix it without breaking the tiles around the base of the toilet so it can be at the same height like before? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am having a deck built, it approx 16 x 10 feet. The decking is spanning the 16 foot width. A few of the boards appear to be warped along the width of the board, the appear to run in a curve. The boards that appear this way are near the suppport posts that are sticking up for the railing. The boards that are not near posts appear straight. Nonetheless when measuring from the wall to the edge of the boards along the length of the boards the measurement is consistent. The railing and spindles have yet to be put up. I am wondering if the posts are giving an illusion of the boards being warped and if that illusion will go away when the spindles and railing have been put in place.

I have an 18 volt, 8.25" Ryobi miter saw. I would like to eliminate the battery and be able to run the saw from a continous power source. The batteries wear out to quickly, but the saw is perfect.

I have never had a yard sale. I have went to a few and I know not to put things on the ground....as I hate bending over to look at them. I have bright signs up so that's taken care of it. I really need to know about clothing and pricing. I have everything from shorts/shirts to nice dresses. I don't know what to price them at and also lots of sandals and purses?? Last how do I place them? In boxes on tables? Just folded up on table? I would really like to hang them but I don't have a fence or trees. I live in a duplex type subdivision. Any suggestions about that? Thanks.

I am pretty lazy. Is painting a concrete floor in the living part of the house a big deal ? To those who have done it, is it easier or harder than putting down ceramic tile?

I'm repairing a wall with plaster, and I'm putting the plaster on, but I was wondering, how do I go about making the final finish really smooth. As it is, it's sort of rough and sharp. What should I be doing?

I need a touch to paint over a filled in hole, but I found the paint in the can was dried out. Since I need only a drop or two, is there any way to recycle the dry stuff at the bottom? This is a water based indoor paint.

I don't have a pressure washer sprayer - that's why I'm wondering if I can bypass this step. I can rent one/buy one if need be, but want to do it with the least amount of steps possible.

When I pulled out the old caulking I think I pulled out some of the caulking that was used to hold the surround to the wall. In some places the surround sticks out a little more from the wall than it did before. Help! I don't know whether to just recaulk it or to try to put some caulk into the space between the wall the the surround first.

I was going to buy a long black drape to cover up the window in my room to block out light and heat, but I don't think the cloth would be good at insulating the room to keep it cool. No matter how long we set the AC in our house, my room is always the hottest, and I think it might be because during the afternoon and at sunset, the sun is always pointed in my window's direction and that might be why my rooms gets so warm compared to the rest of the house which is like 4-6 degress cooler than my room.

I measured the dimensions of my window to be about 46 inches by 46 inches, but when I goto Home Depot or Lowes what can I buy to stick into the window space to block out light and absorb heat so my room doesn't get so hot? And do you know if they will cut this material to the measurements I need and how much it all might cost?

I've built a large doghouse and it's made of OSB board. I was planning on covering it with wood or siding, but someone told me that the OSB is waterproof and would stand up to the elements if I just paint it. Is that correct?

I need to bond two open ended cookie sheets together( they will overlap in their centers by 4 inches) to make one perfect sized cookie sheet for my odd sized convection oven in my kitchen-less studio apartment...

How can I bond these two tin plated steel cookie sheets together? The overlap would be perfect for glue or silicon--an adhesive that can take oven temperatures to at least 400F...? Because of the overlap, the adhesive would never come close to having any contact with food that would be above on the cookie sheet(s). Plus I use parchment paper liners for baking...

Any ideas are most appreciated.
