Sodium carbonate, known as washing soda (not baking soda) arm & hammer also makes washing soda
If you can't get any, you can use kool aid instead of the dye kit.

You can tie dye a white, or other pale color t-shirt by gathering up small sections and wrapping a rubber band around them, then soaking the shirt in Kool Aid. Rinse in cold water to set the color. Tie dye denim jeans by tying in knots (or using rubber bands again) and dipping the jeans (dry) in straight bleach. Let them air dry. I don"t know about using baking soda for soda ash.

you would be able to desire to study and persist with the guidelines. The dye is made to paintings with specific chemical substances, and in case you alter them, you're unlikely to get the fabulous effects. you won't be able to omit out a step, and nevertheless anticipate it to "paintings" for you.

make your mom buy you a new kit. How rude! Go throw something of hers away that she plans on using then when she looks for it say, oh I thought it was garbage.
