Do those drycleaning sheets you stick in the dryer, versus bringing your clothes to a drycleaner, actually work? I would love to be able to "wash" my comforters and blankets this way, but it sounds hokey.

I know you have to wear rubber gloves; but sometimes I do a speedy clean up on my counter tops and it leaves my hands smelling for hours even after washing them with scented soap.

Any tips?

I've been using Tide for years and it has always worked really well. However, I know that it's not biodegradable (okay the packaging says it is BUT in reality it takes 5 years for Tide to completly biodegrade) and I really don't feel good about polluting the water so I can have clean clothes. Any suggestions on eco-friendly laundry detergents that work well? Thanks!

We have two little girls and two cats. All of us have allergies and my daughter has asthma. I vacuum twice a week sometimes more, is the Dyson worth the price for the hype?

I've had this issue for long enough. I constantly have to buy new sweaters because after I wash them they shrink, and no longer fit. How can I prevent this from happening?

I can't afford dry cleaning (just for your knowledge).

Love their detergent but by the time you pay shipping costs it is way too expensive. Is there a detergent that works as well? Tide, Gain, Cheer do not come anywhere close to being as good as Amway's.

My daughter is 7 months and breastfeed. What can I use to get ride of the stain from when she leaks (we change clothes about 5 times a day due to this and now everything is stained) and when she explodes when I change her dippie. I am on a budget so those nice stain removers are not that handy. Right now I fill up the bathroom sink with cold water and wash them with dish soap and then leave them to soak untill I go to the laundry mat. (yes no washer either). And they still come out stained Any ideas?

How long do you wear a pair of jeans before washing them.

I have been known to wear them for a few weeks between washes, how about you?
