I know you have to wear rubber gloves; but sometimes I do a speedy clean up on my counter tops and it leaves my hands smelling for hours even after washing them with scented soap.

Any tips?

You can immediately neutralize bleach by pouring vinegar over it.
Try it and you will be surprised how the smell and the slippery bleach feeling comes off your skin.
Afterwards wash your hands with soap and use some moisturizer to help your skin along.
Good luck.

lemon juice and salt. First the juice. Get it all over your hands. Everywhere, then put salt on and wring your hands, then rinse. This usually gets the smell off your hands, but for me, the bleach smell stays in my nostrils. No way to fix that, Oh, and fresh juice, not that stuff out of a plastic lemon shaped bottle.

You can remove the smell and exfoliate your hands at the same time.
Just rub 1T good vegetable oil and 2 T baking soda into your hands, rinse well and rub hand lotion into your hands.
Feels great.
