Ok, so heres an image i just threw together to try and illustrate some rooms in my house.

Atm, all the walls are white and they are driving me mad!

The problem i'm having is that there is a distinct lack of colour and because the walls span into three rooms, each with different coloured furntiure and cupboards, all neutral-ish, i'm having difficulty deciding...

Help :(

Is there any kind of paint out there that is resistant to mold? Are there certain paints you don't want to use for the bathroom?

I have a huge rubber plant and, uhhh, well, a tropical looking thing--I haven't the slightest idea what it is. I water when very dry, they are getting a medium amount of light, and have been fine forever, until now...of course.

Leaves have been dropping off like crazy, so I changed their soil and added some of that "Miracle Grow" stuff....to no avail after 3 weeks.

Anyone know what's going on or how to revive them? Or is it time that they take a 'dirt nap'. The rubber plant looks like it's a goner. It has only one leaf yet. Ahhhhh, I'm a plant killer :-). Sad, but true :-) :-) :-).

Ok, I saw someone saying that Dewalt is the best. However I didn;t see alot of people backing up this claim. Now I DO know that Dewalt DOES make quality products for sure, but I was kinda wondering if they aren't just kinda riding their name a bit? While they still make good tool perhaps they aren't the GREAT tools they used to be? Bit I digress. Another brand that I thought was supposed to make really good tools is Bosch. But I haven't seen anyone mention them? Are THEY not what they used to be? Or was I mis-informed to begin with? My dad has always used Makita and lower end Dewalt. But he has never been one to "splurge" on getting the absolute BEST either. I havent bought ANY power tools before (never had a resason to in my young life). But I just got my first house and needs alot of work. I KNOW I will need some quality tools to help me through the process. Any advice that anyone can offer would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

We painted our dining room a golden yellow color but thats the only color so far! We need to paint our entry way: the door is light brown with light tan marble floors. Our living room: we have red couch with a flowery type design on it. Our kitchen: black and white tile floors darkish brown cabinets. and our restroom that look like a regular restroom! thanks!

The pests have curled each leaf inward on itself. When I unfurl the leaf, I don't see any bugs or eggs, but the leaf is scarred. Do you know what type of bug this is or how to get rid of them. Many ficus trees around Tampa have this right now.

Alright, I bought some 4" and 2" PVC yesterday (both sch40) and a 4" to 2" reducer. When I got home and put it together, the 2" PVC fell out of the reducer even after I pounded it in. Also, the 2" to 1/2" brushing wont stay in the 2" coupler. Do I need to use PVC primer/cement to make it stop falling out/wiggling? I mean, the 2" PVC wiggles around very noticably unless your holding it straight. I think I just need to glue the reducer and coupler together to make it fine.
*When I say brushing and coupler, I mean the 2" coupler and 2" to 1/2" brushing... They are also all the same sch too.

I called a repair man and he said that I needed some spray to clean it but he said he didn't have it. He said the spray only cost 6 or 8 dollars but he didn't give me the name or where to find it. Does anyone know what he may have been talking about and where I could find it?
