I called a repair man and he said that I needed some spray to clean it but he said he didn't have it. He said the spray only cost 6 or 8 dollars but he didn't give me the name or where to find it. Does anyone know what he may have been talking about and where I could find it?

A fridge to my knowledge does not have a filter except for a water dispenser. You do however have condensor coils in the back of the unit at the base. It needs to be cleaned, if it is dirty your compressor will overheat, and the unit will run until hot then shut off, so the fridge will warm up inside and not get cold. If you are having this problem that's where to start. To clean them, you need only use a vacuum and attachments to get the fuss and hair off of them. It will take about 12-24 hours to get caught up.

Use a vacuum cleaner on the coils on the back of the unit. You should be able to see the dust clogging them. If you cannot get it out, use a can of spray air like for cleaning keyboards. It's a bit messier though.

You need a condenser coil brush like this if your vacuum won't reach all the coils.

"Condenser Cleaning Brush - Easy-to-use brush helps you keep your refrigerator condenser coils clean. Cleaner coils reduce electric bills and help prevent compressor failure. Especially wise in homes with pets. Long handle reaches hard to clean areas"
