I came home and my sink is clogged. It's a blackish grey color, so I start with a snake. Doesn't work. I start emptying the sink in to a bucket so that I can poor some DrainO down the drain and right when I've emptied the water, the neighbor flushes and my sink fills right back up.

I don't know how drainage systems work, but was that toilet water I was draining from my sink? Or please tell me that there's two totally different drainage systems (please).

Thanks

I spilled soda on my new fuzzy slippers. The tag on the slippers doesn't say anything about washing instructions. Should I wash them seperately to prevent the blue bleeding, or can I wash them with my other clothes?

A friend of mine told me she'd bought some - I'd never even heard of them. She said they were the softest, most absorbent towels ever. If you've tried them, what do you think - and where did you get them?

I dry my roses by hanging them upside down in my closet, but the white ones always turn yellow as they dry. Is there any way to prevent this?

Bought a carpet for an irreguler shaped room, with an underlay that was actually more expensive than the carpet.

They left the large ofcuts from the carpet (which came in one piece) but took the remaining underlay which came in smaller rolls and hence can be used at their next job.

Should I return to the carpet shop and complain?
