I would get a trampoline that comes with guards. Cement or grass, the laws of physics will ensure that both are equally damaging.

If you put it on concrete you risk the person falling on a harder surface the a yard, but both are hard enough to break a neck, arm or leg.

I would rent a small back hoe and level a area for the trampoline. I would also move toys etc. out of the area so not to have objects to hit if your fly off of the trampoline. They also make and sell mate for going on the ground to use with a trampoline. I would consider both.

My kids fall off constantly. I would not want mine on concrete. Try to find a way to level it in the yard. You might have to dig down a little to bury one side a bit. Grass is MUCH softer than cement. Even then, be careful. I think the orthopedic surgeons own the trampoline and roller blade companies.

What you need to consider is, how is the trampoline going to be used, by whom, and what kind of supervision is going to be used. A fall off a trampoline onto the grass could be just as dangerous as a fall onto concrete. You're 100% correct that the tramp has to be on a solid level surface. You also need to have a spotter (or spotters) and good instruction and supervision especially for kids. You might want to consider a safety net (vertical sides to prevent someone from falling off).

Sure, put it on cement. That way you can start a tab at the ER for broken bones and stitches. Even if you don't fall off, the jumping will make it shift and slide. If you can't put it in the grass because of a slope, don't get a trampoline.

it's unsafe if little kids are on the trampoline because they could fall off. I suggest putting it on the grass or leveling your yard. It would be dangerous to put it on a hill just as much as on the cement. Youwouldn't want your child or whoever jumps to fall off.

hope this helps:)

Here is a little known fact but should not be surprising. Most house insurance companies will not pay out if you have a trampoline in your yard. Peruse your policy and/or call your agent. We all know that insurance companies only want to collect, not pay out. I speak from second hand experience. My grandaughter had a trampoline in her yard and her kid broke her arm....not the insurance companies responsibility....yadda yadda read the fine print. Would not like anyone to have to bankrupt because of a serious injury to anyone from the trampoline.

Absolutely! Do make sure to leave hot coals & broken glass around the edges before you start jumping though. You might want to think about inviting all of your other friends that think it's a good idea as well. That way you can all ease the burden of your impact on the earth.

Every little bit helps!

I dont think it is safe at all. It might be better to try the grass instead. It wont tip over unless the trampoline is really small.

I know of no safe place to have a trampoline. People can break their neck on the canvas or the wire springs. Even if they land on soft grass.
