The lava lamp i have is blue background liquid and green wax/weird jelly stuff that floats about. But i just looked at it, and its not really green anymore its more red and brown. What can i do?

It's a chemical reaction caused by constant temperature change from hot to cold and back when the lamp is switched on for several hours then switched off again. Short of returning it to the company, I don't know what to tell you. The manufacturer will usually replace the units free if you pay shipping........

I had that problem with the Lava Lamp I have but it came ok again so don't do anything with it, especially shaking it.

I've never heard of that happening maybe you should call the company ask for a replacement if it is a newer lamp. If not then you might just have to buy a new one.
