Well being 52 years old..and raised in the country where we all had wells and septic tanks..I can remember replacing the drain field due to tampax "originals' when I was 9 years old with my Father...That is the only type they had then..they definately didn't dissolve..they swelled up..

You should try Playtex Beyond tampons. Their applicater is biodegradable and flushable. However, the actual tampon isn't. It's always best to wrap up your used tampon and trash it. Never throw your tampons down the toilet unless your plumber is cute (: Best of luck!

NO!!!! there is NOT!!!!!.....If u think what a tampon is used for it would occur to you that it shoud not be flushed....when it gets wet it swells up....so therefore if u put it in more water it will swell up more....i would highly suggest NOT to flush those unless u eventually want to call the plumber to unstop the sewerline

Tampax original regular because it is made of natural fiber. It is also safer to use than those that contain absorptive chemicals.
