is it possible that our dryer can get TOO hot and quit on you...I was just doing my laundry and the dryer quit on me!!!But the light is on when i open the door!

If lint gets built up around the thermostat, it will shut the dryer down, as a safety measure. Take the back off, and take the sweeper and clean out all of the accumulated lint. Might save yourself a fire. Also check the vent pipe, it may be full of lint also, which will cause the dryer to overheat.

Yes that is a very big possibility. It might be just the fuse ,which is very easy to fix. Unplug the dryer first, then unscrew the top part where the dials are. There should be a schematic inside telling you where everything is. You can go from there,or call a repair person. If you have a parts shop close by, it's easier to do it yourself,and allot faster too. Byee

It is possible that the belt is broken, we just had to replace one last week, especially since the electricity to it seems to be working. If the belt is broken, it won't spin.

have someone come in and check lt out. lt could be the pilot light went out
