They look like big hooks that bolt to the side of the window frame and you use them to hold back the curtains. Some are quite ornate. Also expensive. Any ideas how to make my own that won't cost a lot but will look nice? I could sew them out of cloth, but I really want the other kind. Thanks for your help!

I like for my students to use rubber cement in the classroom. The school distict made us quit using it since it is toxic. I read somewhere that there is a new product that is like rubber cement, just nontoxic.

I don't know when morning glory seeds sell the best... is it in spring when everyone plants flowers or is it some other time that is better to sell them? I already ready have a bag that has more than 100 seeds from the past 2 years that I want to keep, but I now have 2 morning glory plants that are very soon going to have a ton of seeds to harvest and I don't need them and I don't want to waste them so I want to make a few extra change selling them. When is the best time?

The problem is that the stopper plug doesn't return directly in the hole immediately after a flush. I tried shortening and lengthening the chain, to no avail. To fix the problem each time, I have to reach into the tank and place the stopper plug directly into the hole. Why can't it do that on its own? How can I fix it?

Ok so I got home from work yesterday and there was this big brance that looks like it comes from the type of tree that I have in my front yard thrown on the side of my driveway by my house like someone was tryin to say "this is yours." So I was like wtf? And if it was mine I never saw it and if it was mine how did it get out of my yard and into my neighbors? So anyways the neighbor on that side has a big dumpster in the driveway cuz they are working on their rent house. So I took it and threw it in there. Now it laying all up on the dumpster. What do you think?

I cleaned our wood staircase 4 days ago and had the bright idea to apply new stain. Now it is sticky and will not dry. Our daughter comes home from camp tonight and will not be able to go up to her room. Is there anything I can put on the stain to make it dry. I have had the ac on 70 for 3 days and today i am trying to dry it with a hair dryer... not fun.

I've been looking for a "Celestial" themed bed-in-a-bag set, for a twin bed. I found the PERFECT one on Ebay, BUT they only have it in Queen & King sizes. On other sites, I've found ones for toddlers & babies, but none like the one I want, except for the ones that are too big. I've went to Bed, Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc...I've searched on search engines, w/no luck. The one I want is dark blue w/gold suns, moons & stars on it. If you know where I can find a set to fit a twin bed, please let me know. In this case, Ebay, nor any search engine so far, has led me to one. Thanks!

I made the mistake (not the first time, either) of washing a red garment or two with my whites. I generally don't separate the colors. So now, a lot of my whities are pink.

So how can I get them back to white again?

Our front patio leading to the front door is VERY slippery when wet. And being rainy season here in Florida it always seems to be wet. I can't afford to rip it up right now. Is there anything I can paint on the surface that will prevent it from being so slippery? Or other low cost meathod making the patio safer?
