I have about 5 pairs of Reef flip flops (the ones with the nylon bands and foam/rubber base) and I wear them ALL the time. They start to smell after a while because of the hot, wet, sticky summer weather and my feet! lol...

What is a good way to wash them? Please do not tell me to buy new ones..they are about $25 a pop and are the ONLY flip flops I like because they do not give me blisters at all.

I've tried soaking them in hot water and soap, but the smell still remains! I think I might pop them in the washing machine!

Thanks!

A tree that is fairly small good for placing in the corners of fencing. That reaches the maxium of 15 ft high and 10 ft spread. I would rather a 10 ft tree. I need something that will not attract pest and doesn't need much maintainence if any. Also there will be four of these along the front of the yard with a good distance spread but I don't want the front of the house to be hidden. I don't want it to attract alot of bees or wasp as that is a high risk I must avoid. If you can help me choose this, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for at least viewing if you couldn't help. :)

I'm in the phoenix area, and we actually had a bad frost in January, and then the plant wasn't well watered due to a broken sprinkler head. Now it is visibly better, but there are many leaves that are brown on the edges and some are all brown. Please help, I bought this house with a beautiful yard, but I am inexperienced at growing things.

I thought there'd be some kind if gutter sealant in the hardware store, but when I went there to inquire, the guy said they didn't carry any, and besides they don't work that well. Any opinions on this or suggestions about repairs?

I was given this plant by an elderly lady who can't remember its name. Its looks are deceiving. What looks like a prickly succulent is in fact a flaccid rope with the feel of ultra-suede. It produces a flower like a purple Maypop but soft like the rest of the plant. http://s186.photobucket.com/albums/x47/RScott-02/?action=view¤t=DSCN4162.jpg RScott

Something fell in the over (or was in it already) and caught fire. The fire was quickly put out, but now we have this plastic residue on the bottom of the over. Is there a type of cleaner that can get rid of the melted plastic without ruining the non-stick surface of the oven? What is the best way to get rid of it? It is such a thin layer that scraping is not really an option, but the fumes are still really strong if the oven is turned on.
Thanks in advance!

My husband has worked in the HVAC field for many years but never bothered to go through the process to get his jounymens. He recently filled out the paperwork and $10 fee to get his aprentice liscence (which apparently is needed to get your jounymens). Can anyone explain the process to me, specific to Maryland?
