I was given this plant by an elderly lady who can't remember its name. Its looks are deceiving. What looks like a prickly succulent is in fact a flaccid rope with the feel of ultra-suede. It produces a flower like a purple Maypop but soft like the rest of the plant. http://s186.photobucket.com/albums/x47/RScott-02/?action=view¤t=DSCN4162.jpg RScott

I was given one of these plants from a friend and was never sure what the name was but the stems get real long and when the plant blooms it looks like a large poppy flower, the flower is like the size of an apple and it's dark red-beautiful but Im sorry about the time of plant it is I think its a succulent we just call it a snaggle tooth catus-but if you find the true name please let me know too thanks

Dunno, but my grandmother had one of those. She died 7 years ago and the house has been untouched since then. The thing is still living and sitting in the window in the kitchen. Can't kill it (not that we wanted to).
