im moving and my room is downsizing alot and i need furniture that looks good and is very usefull but doesnt take up alot of space

I am redecorating my room, and it is on the small side. I have no clue what colors to paint it. I know that I do not want blue, red, or purple. Anything else I am open to. I do want three walls one color and then another wall be the focal wall with a seperate color. Any ideas or any good places where I can check out samples? Thanks!

I am fixing up my front porch and I would like a rug at least 5x6 to go in front of the Glider I just bought. I do not want anything like Jute. Where can I look and what exactly do I look for... I really want something I can walk on barefoot and not have it be so rough it hurts my feet. Thanks

We are looking to purchase a new home, and one house we found has gorgeous wallpapering in it. While I love it, I don't want the house to look totally dated by the presence of the wallpaper! Is it possible that it is a "newish" thing, rather than just old?? It looks like the paper itself is in perfect condition--perhaps recently hung. I realize it's ultimately up to us--what we like or don't like--of course, but would like the opinion of others. I wouldn't want our beautiful new home to look SILLY! Many thanks!

I've got a Staghorn / Sumac whichever you wish to call it, growing in my backgarden which I've nurtured since it was a baby shrub. However,this summer, I've noticed little black spots on the main leaves of the tree. They've not really affected the health of the tree, but it doesn't look particularly nice.
Is this any sort of virus at all?

It has been working fine for the past 10 months. Now, all of a sudden- it's dead. The gears don't even attempt to start up. It's as if it's been disconnected. I checked the plug and the fuse- both on and ok. Could the motor be fried or is it possible that there is another cause for its malfunction?

My friend drew on my binder with this marker that has an eraser attached to the other end of it, but you have to draw over the marker with a white marker and then erase it. And, now I want it to come off. I tried loads of stuff to take it off. I got it to fade, but nothing else.

I am using 3 different colors in my daughter's bedroom. her comforter is striped with whites, green, and medium blue. I want to use the same colors on the walls. Any ideas as to what pattern to use? I own a front loader and do a great job keeping up on the wash, but sometimes just throw everything in and don't check (my husband's pockets usually) all the time. I've washed his iPod twice (it's fine), his cell phone bluetooth ear piece. Then there was a Matchbox firetruck ladder stuck in my toddler's jeans that got stuck in the mechanism and stopped the pump from draining the washer.
