It is a very fine grass that doesn't grow very high. I'm pretty sure it starts with a "z".

I have a tub and shower doors and I HATE the shower doors. They are ugly and I just feel restricted when I'm showering, so I want to remove them. My mom thinks that the doors will be better to prospective buyers if I go to sell in the future. I say it doesn't make a diff. Do you think that will make a diff in the value of the home, I know bathrooms are big focal points when selling a home? I really hate them, but I don't want to do anything damaging. If I can remove them, any tips on how? Thanks!

In the big box stores I see Dewalt and other brand 70-100 piece drill bit sets for good prices. If I'm using a Makita should I search for Makita bits or would any brand bit work the same?

I like in the Chicago area and have moved into a new home (8 years old). I am unaware of the previous owner's lawn care techniques. The reason for my question is that today I saw my first Japanese Beetle. Some websites say to treat for grubs now with the first sighting of a Beetle. The lawn looks good overall, but I do not some thatch. The yellow spots in the lawn are minimal. I do have an inground sprinkler system. My question is when is the best time to dethatch my lawn, and apply appropriate chemicals throughout the year in Chicago? What products and dethatching techniques are recommended? I appreciate your thoughts in advance!

We moved into a house with a huge overgrown garden, thousands of hostas, weeds and other unknown flowers and plants. All I want is grass! What is the best way to get rid of it all? I don't mind a little hard work, but don't want to spend tons of money.

I have a few flower boxes with plants that I'd like to bring back with me when I return to Buffalo, NY from Ontario, Canada. They are common flowering annuals native to the area.

I have been cleaning this whole week and wondered...

My new father-in-law is visiting tomorrow. His home is **** and span-I don´t know if he cleans it, or hires someone to do it. What do you notice when you visit others? I am washing windows today, and just don´t want to overlook something.
Or, do you not notice how someone else´s home looks, and just enjoy yourself?

He is not staying with us, but at a hotel, but will visit us for meals for a week.
