the line is for a central air conditioner and it currently draing straight into the main vent stack. There's no trap. I'm thinking this is wrong, but can't think of an alternative.

about 6 months ago and it is doing great...
it comes with plastic covering the dirt and the plant itself is growing thru a precut hole in the plastic.
My plant is doing so well that it is growing babies under the plastic but i'm afraid that they will die if i don't take the plastic off. Is it safe for me to take the plastic off?
It has a clear box cover so it wouldn't lose any moisture. I dont want to do anything to kill it...i love my bug eatin plant :)
I dont want to transplant it either...
someone please help!!
Thanks,
Lacey

I'm wondering if anyone has had any success at growing potato's in a hot climate, such as Queensland Australia. Can it be done? And does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about it?

I bought a Jasmine plant last year and put into a terra cotta pot. It was blooming beautiful last year, with tons of little flowers. Well I left it outside all winter in the pot. All of the leaves are dead. If I break off a little of the stem it looks like there is a little green in the center. I don't know how to revive it. I have been watering it and it has partial sun throughout the day. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

I have never had a garbage disposer before and this one sounds like it wants to work but I can't get it to do anything. I reset the little red button and it makes a humming noise for a few minutes then it shuts back off. It isn't a big deal to have or not but that side of the sink sometimes takes 6-8 hours to drain and its starting to stink at times. Any ideas would be helpful.

I washed a load of clothes and some foreign substance, that appears to look like grease, has appeared on two shirts and a pair of boxer shorts. The clothes have already been dried once but that is all. I sprayed Shout! on one shirt and then washed it (without drying it...I let it air dry) and the stains did not come out at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for the clothes?
And just FYI the clothes are a golden rod yellow polo, a light turquoise polo and then a pair of light blue boxer shorts. Thanks!

My flower beds are loaded with grub worms. My questions is - Is there an alternative way to get rid of these without using harmful chemicals.

I bought some nice exterior wall lanterns and then realized that they are not motion sensors. I like the style so I don't really want to return them so was wondering is there motion sensors that can be added to them?

my father is an avid do-it-yourselfer. we are puting in hardwood floors in our house and he already put one room in and it is pretty good lookin! but he has bad judgement sometimes and there is really old linoleum under the old carpet and he wants to go directly over the linoleum without the felt insulator. this doesnt seem right WHAT DO YOU THINK?!

I have an older MTD push mower that revs too high. It does not have a throttle control, only a choke on the front of the engine. It revs so high that the vibration makes my hands hurt to use it. In case it helps...the mower uses straight gas, not a gas/oil mix.

Where should I begin to find out what the problem is?
