It is an aluminum storm door. Is it less than say $15? If it is too much I may just want to buy a new one thats all.

They do but, it's not hard to do. I've done this a thousand time in the past on jobs and have charged forty dollars for a ten dollar job but, it's up to you.

Measure your screen and give yourself a couple of inches on each side. Go to Ace or Home Depot, which ever is closest. Get the fiberglass screen, the White or aluminum color is the least expensive. Save your rubber that goes around and hold the screen in, don't through it away. Use a screw driver to take out the rubber then toss the screen.
Clean out the rail and put the first corner of the screen in carefully and make sure it's square or it won't come out right.
Put the rubber in and push it gently, make sure you don't shove the screwdriver through the screen. Be careful.
Tighten the screen all around as you go, pushing the rubber as you go into the channel. Careful not to "wrinkle the screen and make sure the rubber is tight.
You saved yourself about fifteen dollars.

You can do this yourself for under $10....Buy the screening yourself as well as the tubing that holds it in place, the screening is very cheap to buy as is the tubing. Then you simply pull out the old tubing from around the door and the screen will come right out. Lay the new screen over the door and begin to push the tubing into the track around the door , I use a butter knife but a screwdriver will work too. Make sure you pull it taut as your putting it in and cut any excess off when it's done. It's very easy to do and will save you alot, it'll cost more than the doors worth to have them do it. And if you just replace the screen yourself you can extend the life of this door by replacing the screen when ever necessary...Hope this helped

I think most of the Ace hardware stores do this and they generaly do a good job. Expensive depends on what you expected to pay!

Its not hard to do it your self. You buy the screen. You get the spline and the tool. Ask some one at home Deop how to do it and off you go. Just remember to cut off the left over screen
