3rd time i tried to use it this season. no problem the first 2 times. full tank of gas, new spark plug and it just won't turn over. i opened the carb and when i push the prime bulb it didn't appear as if any gas was squirting in - just air. so i poured a little gas in the carb and then it started, but then quickly died out once that gas burned. fuel line is not clogged and i tried to clean the carb as best as possible with a carb cleaner but that didn't help. any ideas what the problem might be? thanks.

I like the look of things from that decade, but when I look on the web I have to type in 1930's furniture or 1930's decor etc. It would be nice to know the actual name or type of movement that went with that era.

I have some windows that have developed condensation in them because of the use of a humidifier in the winter. How can I get rid of this? They are double pane windows. Replacement is not an option as we are in a hi rise condo.

Can you put pigskin leather in the washing machine? I have one of those super-new machines that can wash everything; landro-mat style. Is it safe to wash my jacket? I can't afford to dry clean it, and I was going to donate it to Goodwill anyway.

A combination padlock, or one with a key... of course considering that they're both good quality.

I heard something like its possible for someone to crack the code of a combination padlock just by listening to it. Is it true?

I just found out I have possums in my backyard. The possums have already ate all the fish in my koi ponds, made a mess of my compost heaps and dug several holes in my backyard. How do I keep them out? I don't want to set traps. Or how do I at least make it harder for them to get into my koi ponds or compost heaps. My backyard is not a natural or wild backyard. It's in a suburban area and it has a fence.

I just replaced my burnt out light bulbs in my room with compact fluorescent ones & when ever they are on, they make a really annoying humming/buzzing sound like the larger ones do. Are there any particular types or brands that don't or am I stuck with the sound.

I have a large one bedroom and I am a month away from becoming a foster parent. I will be housing children, one at a time, under the age of 4. There is more than plently of room to make 2 areas, but I am not sure how to go about it. I cannot put any permanent walls up, seeing as I rent, but something that had to be anchored or screwed into the wall will be ok because that can be removed and repaired. I have considered a pop up gazebo, if I can find the right size or building a frame that sturdy and hang materials around. Shower rods and pvc piping keep popping in my head, but I have no design. Any ideas?

I am in the process of repainting several rooms in my home. I have primed everything and am putting new color on. I have used a roller on the walls but plan to use a paint brush on the trim. I want to use a semi-gloss paint on the trim. Are there any steps I can take to make it as smooth as possible without brush strokes showing? I have heard that some paints "settle" better than others. Or can I lightly sand primer surface first? Advice please!!

I already pinch the dead or dying petunia so to promote regrowth, but they are in pots and also some in the ground have appeared to become to heavy or n ot as not as bushy as before, still lots of blooms through. Stems seems to become stringy looking. Where would I cut stems, so not too loosing potential for rebloom?
