3rd time i tried to use it this season. no problem the first 2 times. full tank of gas, new spark plug and it just won't turn over. i opened the carb and when i push the prime bulb it didn't appear as if any gas was squirting in - just air. so i poured a little gas in the carb and then it started, but then quickly died out once that gas burned. fuel line is not clogged and i tried to clean the carb as best as possible with a carb cleaner but that didn't help. any ideas what the problem might be? thanks.

I would start by replacing the spark plug and changing the gas. Most problems are bad gas or water in the gas especally if the mower has been setting for a while.
