does anyone know the name of the style of decoration in the 1930's ?

I like the look of things from that decade, but when I look on the web I have to type in 1930's furniture or 1930's decor etc. It would be nice to know the actual name or type of movement that went with that era.

ART DECO was the style until the early thirties then ART NUVO took over. Hope this answers your question.

Art Deco. And that is a very good decorating choice. In my opinion it is one of the most timeless decorating styles there is. It also goes very well with today's contemporary furniture.
