Evening everyone,

I've lived in my apartment for 7yrs in that time didn't have any problems with roaches at all. Never seen them,until now. They started to show up in the kitchen,sometimes in the living room.
My landord for 2 months now,I had the apartment sprayed for bugs and within 5 days roaches show up. I need help with getting ride of roaches from the apartment. Please help me by telling,what to do get rid of them perminately.

i put the prime first then the water based paint.(on my room)..but i see the roller lines after it dried up...should i paint it again?...and if you don't mind please do tell me how this time...and should i add little water to the paint too.?.thank you

Hi, I like the convenience an electric kettle a lot, but my heating coil is badly corroded after one year of use. It looks rusty and the chrome has peeled. Do all electric kettles corrode? Can anyone recommends one that don't? Thanks.

i have a 100 amp breaker box would like to hardwire a few baseboard heaters for my house about 5 1500 watts heaters ,i know how to do that and i have 3 empty slots where to put 20 amp breakers, my question is can i replace the 100 amp breaker for a 200 amp or do i have to replace the breaker box or the feeder cable how much can it take. feeder cable looks like a 4/3 awg

My dishwasher works, it washes, but for some reason the last bit of water wont drain... i know its clean water as theres no cloudiness, no food particles, no soap bubbles left. Why would it do this? And! how can i fix it?

my veggies are sooo tasty they cant resist them....i really dont want to kill them so please, no suggestions about beer traps or pellets etc! i have tried eggshells but we have trouble getting enough! is there anything they hate that they wont cross?? little buggers! cute though (the snails that is!)

My wife and I purchased a copper kitchen sink that has no soundproofing. The metal is relatively thick, but we're concerned that the sound of the water running in it and pots banging in it will be magnified by the lack of soundproofing. Any suggestions on how to dampen the sounds?

I have a neutral colour scheme in my bedroom - coffee and cream type colours. I quite like it but feel it would benefit from the addition of another colour - how do I know what will work best? I have seen some bronze coloured accessories that would look nice but it's going down the brown route again. I would like to use a colour that isn't too bold but that will help give it a warm, cosy feel as the neutrals can feel a little cold some days.

I live in a townhouse where we have alot of rooms and are decent sizes but our living room is a bit small. We have a huge finished basement that we turned into a family room. So the living room is more of just a sitting room. In it we have A nice cozy chair, a bookcase, desk, a nice entertainment center that has 2 doors that close it all up. We have ficus tree and some plants in there as well. The carpets look awful. We want to replace them with hardwood floors but worry it will effect the resell value (its a family home and we fear parents won't want hardwood floors in their living room). We also worry what hardwood floors would look like in a small room. Would it make it look smaller, bigger or make no difference?
