I do a lot of cooking and baking and my stoveis electrical , any tips on saving energy on that my electricity bills often run high!

Plan your cooking days. One or two days to do a lot of baking and cooking. Start early those days and cook all day.
The heat from the oven will continue so the oven won't need to heat as much.
Make a meat cooking day and use the bar-b-que outside. Cook all the meat for the week.
Turn off the air conditioning on your cooking and baking days till you are through.

One small way is to cover pots and pans as cooking is occurring. Another is to use the smallest burner on the lowest setting that provides enough heat. Microwaving is lower energy use for warming appropriate things. I like to use a counter top oven/broiler for smaller things, these use less power and cook faster if you have convection as a feature.

learn to plan out your meals time wise...don't have your pan of water sitting there boiling waiting for the noodles because you are messing with the meat. Don't have the oven to temperature just sitting there because you're still mixing the cake batter. It takes time to figure this stuff out, but good time management can help.

when your stove isn't being used, unplug it....
when you boil water put a cover over the pan so it will come to a boil faster....
