Hi all

Can you tell me how quickly blackboard paint takes to dry and also how long paint such as the international matt black tudor beam effect paint in this hyperlink takes to dry.

http://www.nwepaints.co.uk/acatalog/PaintsFinishes.html

Also can anyone tell me how good brick acid is at a) bringing paint off bricks and b) bringing paint off tarmac - and would it damage the tarmac? And how good AG4 Gel is for the same things?

thanks!

Hi all

I'm after quick drying flat matt black paint (spray if possible) to mask a blemish on tarmac. Failing that I'm after something that will remove dried gloss paint on tarmac and something to remove red dried hard tarmac stones which are on a black tarmac path (when red path was laid the cowboys poured the bubbling hot red stones onto the black tarmac path and when they were removed some stuck to the black path and now I can't get them off as its too difficult - this has created a red stain on the black tarmac path)

I've asked a few questions about this before and no one has really been able to give an outstanding answer. Can anyone help as I really need to get this sorted.

thanks alot.

Yeah, I'm being serious here, I was walking home last night and one of those little b@stard$ jumped out and beat the crap out of me, leaving me with a black eye and cuts and bruses all over my face. Then to top it off he stole my purse and took all my stuff in it! What should I do?

I live in Arizona where it can get to over 110 degrees F in the summer. AC is basically a must have. Bills can get to be over $300 a month easily for using the AC.

So, is it cheaper to run ceiling fans or does it use about the same amount of electricity as the AC. I would think the AC would cost more.

Which is cheaper and why? Thanks!

Is there an easy way to take a new largish tile off of a plastered wall without breaking it? It is in the wrong position and i need to take it off, I haven't plastered round it yet, so I can get to it from all sides. How about wetting the wall behind it? would that soften the adhesive up and make it easier to take it off? any suggestions?

My house is 81 years old with plaster walls and plaster ceilings. Absolutely NO surface is smoothe, and NO line is straight. Where the walls meet the ceiling, it's not a straight line...it's a bit wavy. How in the world do I paint up where the wall meets the ceiling without getting paint on the ceiling? I have found that tape doesn't work well because the paint tends to penetrate it.

I also have the same problem with my mantle. I want to paint it without getting paint on the brick wall it's attached to. Taping is impossible because the brick is uneven.

I feel there's not much I can do around my house, but painting should be the one thing I can do...

Hello All,
I have a concrete slab that is roughly 5 feet by 8 feet. I would like to use this area as an above ground fire pit / sitting area. The concrete does not match the Earthy tones outside so I thougth I could paint the concrete an Earth tone or stain it. Do you know how one would go about doing this? I would also like to place pavers around this area aswell. If you know of some great links, or have some awesome ideas, please let me know. Thank You!
