Not a lot of detail here. If the vacuum uses bags, it is best NOT to wait until the bag is packed to change it. For best performance change it when only 1/4 to 1/3 full. Might seem like a waste, but the rest of the bags pores just clog as you use it. At some point the bag will only rupture from the pressure, dispersing the dust and dirt all over again.

This is one of the selling points for those new bagless vacuums. (I'd consider getting one if they weren't made with so much cheap looking plastic.)

Can you find the problem? Does the filter need to be cleaned or the dust bag emptied? You may need to be more specific about the problem and that will help with the cause.
