They are safe. Just wash and dry your clothes during the day and not at night.

I dont know what you mean by safe ? but when im away from home i use them.Just make sure the washing machines are clean before putting your clothes in,same with dryers.I would never leave my washing unattended and always go in daylight hours, take something to read while waiting as it gets a bit boring watching clothes going round and round...Liz.ps. I always take my own detergent.

I've used Laundromats on occasion, without problems. But I have seen a few persons who show a considerable lack of courtesy there. And at night, it is best to be wary or even take a friend or two with you.

i have used laundromats all my life and i have never had a problem with feeling or being unsafe or with my clothes getting ruined or not getting clean.
my only suggestion is to use the bigger machines (or a front loading machine) bacause the agitators in the top loaders can get worn out ovet time causing your clothes not to get as wrung out during the spin cycle.

I know people who take there dirties coveralls and rugs to the laundry mat just because they dont want to mess up their own washer and dryer. It leaves scum and filth in the washers. If I can avoid them, I dont go to a laundry mat. Maybe you could borrow a neigbors washer and dryer.

Wash your clothes in the day time. Other than that, you have nothing to worry about.

You couldn' t pay me to wash my clothes at a laundry facility. The water doesn't get hot enough to kill all the bacteria and germs from other people's clothes.
