The colours you have fall into the brown range ie: yellow orange beige etc. Therefore you should go to the complete opposite range of the spectrum which is indigo, purple, blue, turquoise.Experiment, be brave, match pots only cost 60 or 70p. I`m an artist so experiment with lots of different colours.

The good thing about neutral colours is that they can take ANY bold colour as an accent. If you want warm/rich, you could go for a deep red or a purple. If you want warm/summery, you could go for golds or yellows. Dark blues would give it a bit of a masculine feel and pastel pinks turn it into a girlie room.
Personally, as another one with a coffee-and-cream room, I've decided on a dark burgandy bedspread and throw for the sofa. Rich and luxurious!

as long as you steer away from the creams through to the browns then any should work, go for a firm colour not a pastel though and keep away from the yellow range, the persian reds and burgundy's look great also the duckegg blue colours work well or the new look now is teal, be bold and have a go. use lots of cushions and throws for a really trendy look

All of the other suggestion colors are good, I also have a mocha colored / tan scheme in my room... I've accented it with some dark greens. A deep red / burgundy color is also beautiful. I also think a burnt orange would be nice, with some accented golds. I would go with the deeper, rich shades since your room is already so neutral.

if the room is big, dark deep colors work, making the room seem smaller, more intimate. light colors are better for a small room, making it seem larger. since you have a dramatic black color, i'd say use a crimson red. not too orange but not too close to brown. either that or burnt orange. something that is bold, not bland or vague. maybe add some texture such as a sponge print.

I love coffee and cream! Add some brass picture frames, mirrors, dresser accessories, and plant stands or flowerpots
[ or even a brass bed! ].
Brass and plants will warm it up nicely without losing that pleasant, relaxed feeling.

I'd try playing with color schemes at this site. Its primarily used for website design, but we're also using it for paint ideas.
