Concrete pediments must be easy to make by someone who has patience and a great artistic flare? Any important points for me to be aware of? Build lots so just need ideas on how to make best templates. Good with welding, construction etc. If I weld a form, how do I remove the pediment once it has set?

They are made of 2-3 (some have more) gray cylinder shells attached together (about an inch long and half an inch across) , with a hole on one end. When I first saw them, I thought yellow jacket or other wasp nest, but I haven't been able to locate any similar picture online to verify that. Without knowing what I am dealing with I am afaid to try to remove them. I am cleaning out the old camper for my children as a sort of playhouse for the summer, and would appreciate any information. Thank you.

It is a brick built rectangular pond. The pond is approx 2mtrs long by 1.2 mtrs wide. It is 65cm from bottom to top of brick work. There is a section 80cm(l) x 20cm(w) x 90cm (d to top of wall) at one end. There is a waterfall around 80-90cm tall at one end of the pond. Which pump and filter would be best to use? Do I need extra pumpage to feed waterfall? Where is best to situate filter (i'm thinking atop and behind the waterfall, as this looks like where the original one would have been). Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

We're thinking about getting kids beds from Ashley, but wondering how their sales work? Are they the kind of place where something is always on sale, and rarely not. So if you get it when its not on sale, do you really overpay. The beds we want, currently arent, so wondering if we should wait around. Or if they rarely have sales?

I'm trying to attract wildlife to part of my garden but i don't know what to do to attract it.

I know the obvious ones like have a water source and log pile but i would like some more simple but effective methods to attract any type of wildlife.

Thanks

I have seen many examples in garden centres of small lemon trees for example but they cost about $100!! Are they grafted from existing stock?
I have had success in getting small plants to grow from lemon pips for example but would they eventually flower and fruit?

I have heavy aluminium chairs around a table on my outdoor patio, see http://www.norths.co.za/cat6.php?catID=7
My patio floor comprises unglazed tile, and the chairs are hard to pull out to sit on and once seated, to slide toward the table. The ends of the legs are round +- 18mm (3/4 inches).
I have tried felt pads - no good - they wear away in days.
I have tried hard plastic caps - a little better - but still difficult to move.
What can I do to allow the chairs to slide easily.

We just painted our living room wall and my husband wanted to paint it to where about the bottom third was one color and the top two-thirds was another. Then in the middle will be... a seperator? I don't know what it's called. My husband said it will be about a 3 1/2" long piece of a wooden or solid surface material right where the colors meet. Does anyone know what the correct terminology is for this strip of material that seperates the paint colors? Someone suggested "wainescoting" but that doesn't seem to be it either as wainscoting appears to be paneling for the whole bottom portion not just a thin 3 1/2" strip across the middle....

I posted a question before regarding bugs and was able to find out what type of insects have been lerking on my balcony, thanks to one of the answers posted, which helped me investigate more.

They are Pine Seed bugs, which explains a lot since there are two huge pine trees in front of my apartment building. I have searched online and have found no info on how to prevent these things from "visiting" my balcony and what can kill them and rid me of them permanently. I really want to make use of my balcony this year considering it is my first spring/summer in my new apartment, but i am terrified of these bugs. (LOL actually all bugs) Has any one had a problem with these types of bugs? Please help :)
