is it dangerous to have ants in washroom ?

i found some ants coming from jackuzee's very tiny hole . is it normal or dangerous for house? bcs i heard even i fix the hole still they will be there behind the walls making harm the house.

It is not dangerous having ants in the house. Now, if they are carpenter ants, they could cause structural damage to your home and they do like damp/moist areas.

DO NOT USE BLEACH OR ANY SPRAY TO "KILL" THE ANTS.

This will only make matters worse. This will spread and scatter the ants to a different part of the house.

You can buy products at your local garden center, Home Depot/ Lowes etc. but, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE LABEL CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY. FOLLOW ALL THE DIRESTIONS TO A "T".

go and buy D-Con ant poison(4 plastic discs the size of a silver dollar per package) and tape them around the hole, ants come and take the poison back to main group that you don't see and this will fix your ant problem and won't cost more then $3.oo

There are all kinds of ants and they do do damage. If they are the large black ones they are wood ants and can eat your house. Even the smaller ones will burrow into wood. It is best to keep after them and get rid of them. There "hill" only gets bigger and bigger. You have to find the nest and destroy it. And keep going back and destroying it. They will return but eventually you will win. Good luck.

No they won't harm anything and they don't take up much space. lol Keep bathroom super clean and clean good with bleach water around the hole. That should get them out of the batthroom.

no its not dangerous just really annoying. just clean with some bleach, make sure to sweep on a regular basis, and make sure not to leave any food or drinks in your bathroom. (beleave it or not, yes some people do eat and drink in their bathroom)
