Easy. It has nothing to do with brands or models. It has to do with what fits your body best. Since you've decided on a Lay Z Boy, you already know you have the quality. Now go shopping at lots of stores and sit in them. Pretend you're watching TV, reading a book, knitting, whatever it is you plan to do in it and see if it fits.
I took my kids along because I knew we'd be sitting together reading and cuddling, and I ended up getting one with lots of arm and side padding.
Look for how it fits at your neck (are you staring at the ceiling or is you neck uncomfortably bent?) and at your legs, surprisingly. Some will put pressure on your calves, some on your feet, and then like Goldilocks, you'll find the one that's juuuuuust riiiiight. :)
Good luck!

Which ever one fits your style, your body and your price range. If you tend to be conservative, stick with the more traditional styles such as Karli, Jerry, Luetta, Elaine, Nora, etc.
If you are a bit more hip/young, look at the ones that are still somewhat traditional but have a modern edge to them for example the Montreal or Milan...just to name two.
With the more modern you run the risk of them going out of fashion.....but if that's not a problem, then go for it.
The traditional styles are for people like me--maybe a bit more stodgy--who have loved a certain style for years and would be hard pressed to change.
If you already have other furniture, take pictures and show to the LazyBoy people so they can suggest styles for you.
