My cellar is a cave full of Black Widow spiders (yes they are black widows they have the red hourglass on their backs and everything).

Anyway, my sister and I have tried getting rid of them with Flamethrowers but to no avail. We don't know how to get rid of them?

If there is any expert or someone who has got rid of these spiders in the past can you help me?

Scritch scratch, scritch scratch. It has become a familiar, yet increasingly annoying sound in my living room. Squirrels have invaded my chimney. Well, not my chimney, but the space between my chimney and the outdoor paneling that surrounds the chimney. They've dug underneath the paneling and crawled up. I've filled in the the holes, placed bricks all around, and yet they dig deeper and return. I hear them even as I type this. I really used to like squirrels, but I don't want them in my living room. I'm waiting for one to fall down my chimney and start going bazerk behind the glass. I've also seen them on the roof, crawling into that big round thing on my roof. My neighbors tell me they have squirrels in the attic, but I've yet to hear them in mine. How do I get rid of these critters? I don't really want to hurt them, but sometimes I'm tempted to take a gun and sit in the backyard waiting for them. Is there an inexpensive way to end the scratching....before I go nuts?

I mostly use my computer in the corner of the basement, an area which was insulated and panted white a few years ago, but was otherwise rather drab. So, I took to printing out pictures on my color printer and taping them to the wall. However, when some of the pictures needed to be removed or moved, I ripped the paint off some places. So now, I have a two part question. First, what's the best way to remove pictures taped to a wall without damaging the wall? Second, is there a better way to attach pictures to a wall besides tape?

The location is west/central florida (and the grass is St. Augustine/Seville). Under the live oak tree there is constantly a ring aroung the outer perimeter of the tree which he cannot ged rid of no matter what spray/ product he tries. The spot is like a brownish color and is only under the described spot around the tree. I have an homework about manhole covers. The main goal is to obtain the cheapest one which can work out effectively. I have selected two types of materials. One of them is the classical one, cast iron. The other one is reinforced concrete which may be a solution to thefts of manhole covers. I have some questions about details.
1. Which kinds of cast iron are most suitable, economical, safe etc.?
2. The possible disadvantages or any other advantages of reinforced concrete?
3. Cost comparisons between cast iron types and reinforced concrete?
Thanks a lot for any helpful answer.

Last November, my Boyfriend and I moved into a Townhouse in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The previous owner had laid grass seed and straw in the small backyard, but nothing has grown. Over the fall and winter about a 6 inch blanket of leaves covered the entire yard, and when I raked them up this week, I also raked up the straw and surely some of the seed. Now with no leaves, my backyard will be a mud pit if Idon't get something growing back there. What is the best way to get grass to grow fast?

There is a lease law in this state, but yet the county doesn't want to do anything about it until there is hostility between your neighbors or so it seems. Is there a higher authority to discuss this problem with? Whom will actually do something about it. I live in TN., in the county, but not the city. I have put up with this for several years to no avail. What am I to do??? Should I serve a warrant to keep their pups contained? I can't afford to put fenceing around the perimeter, especially since I don't have the animals that cause the problems. I have cats that don't like to stray. My own contain to their area. I even feed stray felines. I love beauty. That means I spend a lot of time, especially in the spring to beautify my yard, but don't want to see it destroyed by the neighborhood puppy mennices. If there is actually such a word?? What can I do to get justice???
