when somebody takes a bath or shower in upstairs bathroom?
I've had plumbers and other so-called 'experts' look at situation and nobody can find anything.

There is a leak somewhere... so-called experts can sometimes be, well- lazy.

I would check the flange between the tub and drain- they are often the weak point. Also check the caulking.

More difficult to diagnose is the p-trap in the floor below the tub.

This is a significant problem that you should address- the water damage can be hidden, and lead to rot (structural issues) and mold (health issue)

A verrrrrrry (yup- 7 r's) long shot is that there could be a vent from the bathroom that feeds out of the house under or near the overhang, then condenses, thus the drip.

Best of luck.

First guess would be that you have an exhaust fan that terminates in the attic instead of going outside the roof OR the vent is one that exits the roof properly but at roof level. These types are common. When someone uses the tub or shower with the fan on, moisture is sucked up into the exhaust piping and exits on the roof. This would not be a problem as it would run down to the ground or to the eavestroughs.

Sounds like you may have an exhaust fan in the bathroom that is causing the problem. If it terminates in the attic it will run down the inside of your roof and cause the dripping you see. If this is the case get it fixed to exhaust outside before you have mold and rot problems. If it does exhaust outside it may just be condensating on the roof and running down, this would be typical and not a problem.

Have your gutters been cleaned recently?

Don't see how this would connect to the shower other than coincidence, but it's the only thing I know that will drip from the overhang ledge is a clogged gutter / drain.
