Hi,
I need to install an electrical panel for my house. I am getting mixed information. I have been told that I need a 200 amp panel, and I have also been told I only need a 125 amp panel. What advantages would I have by putting in a 200 amp panel, besides be able to add circuits later. It seems like overkill to me. Thanks for your time.

The temp is supposed to go down to 17 degrees tonite. It won't last more than the night no doubt. Usually I just run a small steady stream of water overnight and that works fine, keeps the pipes from freezing. A family member said, "I heard that pipes won't freeze in a new house." HUH?

Yesterday while washing dishes; the water went completely cold and it took about 3 to 4 hours before it warmed up again. This morning, my husband took a shower and the hot water disappeared again. This time it didn't warm up until early evening. We can't afford an electrician and after calling all over; there are no parts to be found. May end up having to save money to buy a new water heater but is there anything else that can be done because I'm really not looking forward to cold showers and washing work clothes in cold water.

Last year, due to very rainy weather in the lower Great Lakes region, I got my garden in late (in mid-late June). Then, there were a couple of days with early frost in September. What does the Farmer's Almanac say for this region for this year?

My furnace is only 5 years old. A couple of weeks ago, it stopped running. It will turn on if I go down and press the reset button. Then it will run; but when that bout is done, it does not come back on again by itself. I have had repair men here 5 times already! They can't seem to find the problem. Any suggestions?

Please help!?
I recently bought a new haircare product (CHI Silk Infusion) The product had a leak in the bottle and leaked all over my linolium floor and stained it so I thought I used everything imaginable to try to lift it up and it didn't come off it's like a neon yellow stain a really big spot so I am assuming it is a chemical reaction. I called the company of the product and they said that there isn't any harsh chemicals in the product therefore it should not stain. Well it did I said and the woman told me to try bleach or oxy clean. I did that. Didn't work. In this situation what do I do next? Should I call the company back and try and get them to fix it or is this my fault. Do I call the linolium company??? Should they be liable the floor is only 2 years old. Please Help!

What is it called in a large home kitchen/dining room where you have a long counter that sticks out, with a space under it for chairs/legs, where people can sit and eat. I don't think its called a bar, but its pretty much like that. Its something that you'd find in a rich person's house probably rather than a little house. I just don't know what its called.
