What is the best way to get indoor/outdoor carpet up off my basement floor.?

It seems to have some type of adhesive on it.

Equipment Rental has power floor scraper or you can use a manual floor scraper.....

I used a scraper with a long handle. Works well and isn't expensive. Looks like a garden hoe but there is no bend in the neck. It's just straight.

At the rental yard, they have a power floor remover... it works great!!!
