You can knock the joints loose & reglue using light string to fill the gaps. ( old remedy)
If the joints are not too bad , there is a product called "chairlock "which works well.
If the chair is in good shape let it creak as larry mentioned.

Hit all the joints with wd40 temporary fix The wood has loosened up and rubbing together and will squeak again. Some times it's a good relaxing sound like rain on the roof

One problem that I have seen is that one or both of the rockers will crack after years of use, if this happens it will creak every time you rock on it.

Sometimes a little dish soap or spay wax in the right spot does the trick.
