my green beans started bubbling up out of the jar just a week after I canned them, I thought where I left them in the garage it got too hot on them. The ones that where in the basement didn't bubble but they smell terrible! I have no clue what I done wrong. I spent alot of time and money (on jars, lids and rings)on over 3 bushels of green beans and my heart is broken. Someone tell me what went wrong so I won't go through this again next summer. This is the first time this has happened in over ten years of canning.

I have cream colored now,and I would like to go with something in the earth tones, maybe a dark beige(?), I am sorry that I choose this color carpet but its much cheaper to change the paint, rather that the carpet, any suggestions would be appericated. thank you.

Also we pay £390 a month for a one bedroom flat the front door doesnt lock properly form the inside and its freezing cold due to all the damp and gapey windows.

I am replacing a section of fence that blew down in a recent wind storm. After I set the fence poll in mortar the temperatures dropped below freezing and one day later the mortar has not set. Will it set eventually or do I need to start all over when the weather warms up?

i am a 21 yr old female. i was raised in a very clean household, but my bedroom floor could never be seen. I alays figured that when i moved out on my own, I would be able to keep the palce clean but now that i have my own place, the motivation to clean just isn't there. (welloccasionally when im tired of tripping over junk). my house isn't trashy, but theres laundry, baby stuff, blankets and books nd other stuff just stown everywhere. I can't seem to find the motivation topick it up, an keep it put up. i can sit here and stare at it all day and just not get motivated to clean it up. I have tried MANY different things- from bribing myself to many dfferent types of oganization. they will work for a short time (a week, maybe two) and then it all goes to hell. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this, or on how i can get and stay motivaed?

I have spider mites on my jade, rubber plant and african violet. I have rinsed the jade and rubber off in the shower a couple of times to try to get rid of them, but they are still infested. Do the sprays with insecticidal soap and pyrethrin actually work?

Do you think they are worth the price? Just wondering if it's all hype in a pretty package or if I should really consider spending the $$ when the one I have dies.

We have a 15ft x 30ft x 4ft pool. We have it drained and have the new liner. We were told that with 4 or 5 guys it wouldn't be a big deal to install it ourselves. The company wants $600. to install it for us. Any advice on do's or don'ts?
