when the flower roots start to take over the dirt in the pot to the point where when you pull the flower out of the pot and all you see is an infestation of roots it is time to move the plant to a bigger pot. If you leave the flower in the small pot the flower will die. Before re-poting the flower take it out of the small pot pull the roots to loosen them up sp they are not so tightly woven together, put some potting soil in the bottom of the new pot, put the plant in, then fill around with dirt. This should do the trick! Good luck

You need to get a bigger pot. if the tips of the roots aren't getting any water it'll die. and there is a such thing as a plant being root bound (what your plant is). That will kill your plant also. So just get a bigger pot. more soil.. and your plant should be fine. don't over water it though your plant could go into shock and die.

Re-plant it carefully into a bigger pot so the roots can grow comfortably.

sure, go away it. Your orchid is now starting up to strengthen a sparkling shoot, and in months it would want to have plant life. till you kill it. proceed to do inspite of it change into you're doing. strong success!
